My approach to education centers on bridging the gap between memorization and true understanding. Based in Las Vegas, I provide personalized instruction for students in middle school, high school, and university, focusing on the mechanics of logic and creative problem-solving. By cultivating independent thinking, I empower students to navigate complex academic challenges with confidence and precision.
THE EXPERT
Alexander graduated from MIT with a bachelor's and a master's in electrical engineering. As a high school senior, he was accepted into every Ivy League university, including Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, as well as Stanford, Caltech, and UChicago.
His passion for teaching began in high school, when he taught piano lessons to middle school students in his hometown and ran an AP Calculus tutoring program for fellow students. At MIT, he tutored high school students through the Boston Public School network, taught reading to kindergarteners at the Cambridge Community Center, and taught English as a Second Language to MIT custodial employees.
After five years as an engineer, Alexander left engineering to pursue his true passion: education. He has taught math, science, test preparation, and electrical engineering to high school students, college students, and even a tech start-up CEO through Cambridge Coaching, Wyzant, and independent tutoring full-time over the past six years.
